About Tanuki Sunset
Tanuki Sunset is a third-person longboard-skating game where you play as a raccoon named Tanuki and skate downhill on roads with a synthwave theme that are made by a computer program.
Players skate from mountains to cities to roads by the sea, picking up points and doing tricks as they go. As they get better, they upgrade and change their outfit and trusty longboard to better suit their tastes and play style.
To safely turn tight corners, players have to drift a lot. They have to learn how to do cool tricks, jump off ramps, and avoid cars and other things in their way. They have to get close to the walls and edges to get close calls. This will help them get the most points and earn more Tanuki Bits for the store.
Get into a state of flow with an easier way to control the game and more ways to play, like endless and more trials.
Tanuki Sunset tries to make its players feel like they're back in the old days by giving them a nostalgic feel, a laid-back soundtrack, and art that looks like it's from the past.
How to play
- A/D or left/right arrow to move
- W or up arrow to enter speed stance
- S or down arrow to do 180-degree slide
- Space bar to drift
- Esc to pause
